Hi, I'm Lisa!

When deciding on a photographer to capture the first special portraits of your little ones, it is important to know who you are working with. I am a proud mother of three, a grandmother, an auntie and great auntie who has always had a passion for working with infants and children. I have a master's degree in childhood education and am a retired elementary school teacher. I have had a love of photography all of my life, and once I started taking photos of family and friends, I realized how much I enjoy capturing these special moments for others. That is how Lisa Marie Photography came to be.

My in-home studio is based in Linden Hills, Minneapolis. This setting allows for comfortable and relaxed sessions. The studio has an abundance of natural light, beautiful backdrops and a variety of props, outfits, colors and backgrounds to choose from. The space is fully temperature controlled to keep even the newest infants warm and there is a private space for feedings when breaks are needed.

My goal is to capture the uniqueness of each baby and create personalized sessions that capture precious memories that will last a lifetime.

I know how excited parents can feel about seeing their newborn portraits, and I will work hard to send "first look" photos as soon as time permits. Our family has always had a fondnesss for golden retrievers. Our sweet Daisy girl became a mama to a litter of pups. We gather to see many of her children on occasion!
